والدزة هي جهاز العروس
قديماً ويتكون من صرة بها
ملابس وكيس به نقود أنا
النقود فتسلم بيد أم
العروس وأما الملابس
فتنشر أمام الحاضرات
لتفحصها ولا يخلو ذلك من
نقد وتعليق |
Dazza Night
It is the bride
trousseau which was
composed of clothes and
a wallet full of money.
The mother of the bride
received the money
meanwhile the clothes
were exhibited in front
of women. Criticism and
commentary were

The Well and the Bucket
In the old houses, the
Jileeb or the Qaleeb
(the well) was
indispensable. Its water
was used for many
purposes except
drinking. The bucket was
used to get water out. |
